This is my third Weber Genesis, and my first smoker. I am looking forward to pastrami, turkey, pulled pork, ribs, and salmon

Found this '05 Genesis Gold with rotisserie, 2 LP tanks (1 full), and a cover, all in immaculate shape for $100. The light was a gift from my dad.
I sold my old Genesis Silver B for $150!
Bought the WSM for $150 with cover, but it probably needs new grates.
At the same time I found 120lb of Kingsford for $30.
Thank God for Craigslist.

Now all I need is grates, a Weber chimney starter, and a remote thermometer (already have a thermopen), and some wood

I figure I will scrounge up some leftover oak scraps, but do any local members have suggestions besides Home Depot and BBQ stores for chunks of Hickory, Alder, etc?
 
Welcome aboard Tom! Great deals on your grill, smoker and charcoal. I don't care for the Home Depot, Wally World, or Lowe's woods so I buy my woods here. They have a great selection and fast shipping.
