Hello everyone =) My name is Peter and I live in SoCal. I would like to say Thank you for great ideas and pictures from everyone.
It sure helped me build my double door 6' tall 22'' WSM with custom hinge and many other custom mods. I will try to post some pictures

Looks great Pete! Is there a big temp difference from top to bottom?

For a second when I read your first post about a 6' wsm, I thought you might be the poster "Smootz" over at "The Smoke Ring" forum. He's built a 6' WSM clone from an old tank. It's something to see:

The guys over there that build smokers are amazing craftsmen. if you need help with hinge design they are the folks to ask.

Let's see some cooking pictures! I am curious to see how that thing works :)

wow, thank you for the link to "Smootz" that cooker is cool.
I have used my smoker only one time for now and it worked very well with the Guru controler. Still have few minor
things to work on.
Will post more pics later.
