I just joined and hope to get get information and also contribute. I bought a SmokeFire about 6 months ago but have had Weber gas grills for years. I have always used an electric smoker in the pass and have yet it try the SmokeFire for smoking yet. I grilled on it but not a long smoke. Planning to try ribs this coming week. I see people place there ribs just on the rack. I have alway cut them in half and use rib racks so they sit on there sides. Any thoughts about that. I plan to do baby backs. Good grilling.

Welcome Frank.

Im sure you'll get some tips on the Smokefire.

I prefer to smoke ribs flat yet I've used a rack when I needed to fit more.

@FrankTR you might want to ask your smokefire specific questions in the smokefire subforum as it may get better visibility from other smokefire owners.

Cheers
