New Build with a few problems

I felt like i was getting close but now messed it up. I have two problems I'm trying to fix.

1. I am not able to access the web interface at all. I was able to via ethernet connection but in trying to get the wifi to work I am unable to access it at all now. I have reset the HM but still no go. Do I need to redo the firmware? If so how?

2 Probe 2 is showing a temp when a probe is not plugged in. I have inspected the solders joints where the probe terminal is I think it looks ok. Any other places to check?
 
You can reformat the card and use the norestore option.

Post some high res pics of the front and back of your HM board.

Upload them to imgur or somewhere similar and post the links.
 
I'll post the photos tomorrow morning. I was able to get back into the web interface. I am able to scan and find my wireless network but a IP address doesn't get assigned. I am on a Apple Time capsule router not sure it that might be a issue. Any ideas?
 
From the config screen, go to the status tab and check your System Log and Kernel Log for errors messages
