new build lcd question


 
power supply is good, still no signs of life. not sure what would have changed just adding solder to the lcd pins. any help appreciated.

pi powers up separate from the heatmeter, mated together the heatmeter does not power on. worked ok with no screen until i added more solder to the lcd pins

It's Alive. quick update, lcd pins 1-2 were shorted on the bottom of the board. now it powers on again, still blocks on the lcd. i might quit while i am ahead.
