Hi all,
Need some help with a brand new build. I've got a HeaterMeter 4.3 with a Pi Zero W. Damper/fan config (adapt-a-damper) using a SG90 servo. Wired the damper and fan to an Ethernet jack. I have a short Ethernet cable running from the damper/fan case to the HeaterMeter. Everything worked great until I got to testing the fan/damper (following Bryan's instructional video) while in manual mode so I can play with the speed. As soon as I raise the speed percentage, the screen flashes then goes off, the LEDs all blink and then the screen comes back on. The damper and fan do nothing. I'm using a CAT 5e connector at the damper/fan housing. The wiring is a little different than the CAT 6 connector shown on the HeaterMeter wiki instructions, but I triple checked that I have everything correct. Also, the same thing happens without the damper/fan connected to the HeaterMeter. This leads me to believe something is going on with the HeaterMeter board? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
