new Auber controller

I just received my Auber 1614 package for my Performer. I tested it cooking some pork steaks to see what the temperature range it could handle. Using some Kingsford, I was able to control anywhere from 275 to 340 with no real problem with adequate coal.
I was concerned that the 6.5cfm blower was big enough since they warned about using a 20cfm fan on a WSM for temps above 300F.
I found that for a 22.5 kettle the smaller fan is fine. I wanted the smaller fan because I thought the bigger fan could blow too hard and stir up ash, etc.
I really bought the ATC for low 225 -250 temps long smokes which it should handle very easy.
So far I think this ATC is a bargin at half the cost of a GURU.

I've only done this once so I can't say it will always work, but I maintained 350° with the Auber and 6.5cfm fan by 'assisting' it by opening the other bottom vents a little.

want to use the 22 for cooking butts and brisket at 250-275 do you think the 6.5 CFM fan is strong enough for a 15 hr cook?
