So stopping by like others to introduce myself. Brand new WSM 22.5" owner, got it about 2-3 weeks ago, have already used it 4 times.
So far so good. Learning a bit about it still, mainly on controlling temp and especially how much charcoal to use. first few times I put in too little and had to add charcoal mid smoke.
Not sure if this is the proper place to note this, but I have to say before I bought the WSM I did a lot of research. TONS. Including checking out I think multiple times about every link on the main part of this site. Watched about every video, some 2-3 times. This is an absolute gem of a place to read and learn about the WSM, and I think was the main reason I went this route versus the Masterbuilt electric type smoker which is what I was originally going to get (hope I made the right choice...
