Need some guidance, want to buy WSM 18.5

Hello All,
I apologize for my lack of experience, but I'm unclear on whether item #12 on the schematic on the weber website for the 18.5 is a grommet for temp probes. Would prefer to order that way and save that mod. Anyone know? If so, any idea when Amazon will be shipping the 2014 version? Thanks!
 
It seems to be hit or miss right now if you get the 2014 model until they run out of old stock. I just ordered 2 of the 22" versions and both came with the old body. The link James posted shows where some are getting them now with the grommet on the 18s.

The grommet is so much nicer than running the wires threw the top vent of my old electric smoker.
