I entered my first comp last weekend. We ended up taking first in ribs and pulled pork. It was a big shock. I dont think anybody else could believe it. Everybody else had big rigs then i show up with my little wsm. Lets just say nobody congratulated us. My problem now is we are doing another comp this weekend. It is a three meat cook. Chicken, Butts and ribs. Turn in is chicken at 1 pork at 2 and ribs at 3.
Here are my problems. I have a 22.5 wsm and a small green. I dont know how to cook everything. They also wont let us set up o until the morning of at 6. I have also never done a high heat butt. I was thinking about doing my butt on the egg and ribs andchicken on the wsm. Any help would be very appreciated.

. High heat appears to be your only choice on the butt. Other thoughts include, deboning and butterflying the butt, or just lopping off the money muscle, and cooking the butt in smaller sections. Not sure if that would violate the rules of the contest. Good luck, that is a daunting timeline for a butt in my opinion.
