Hi Guys - Wanted to introduce myself as a long time lover of BBQ, but new to the WSM. Born in South East Texas (Houston) with most of my family still down there. Moved to the northeast for college and have settled in Winston Salem, NC (north of Charlotte and east of Greensboro). I'm a fan of all meats and BBQ styles, but my heart is still with Hickory and Mesquite smoked beef brisket and sausage I grew up on. My family still does some competition BBQ in Texas for fun, but no trophies to write home about at this point.
My first smoker was the Big Cheif and have more recently been spending my time cooking inside or on the grill.
Looking forward to learning from all yall about the bullet and how I can maximize my smoking pleasure over the coming years! Great to see there are international smokers on the board as well as there is nothing better than learning about different cultures and techniques.
