First pic is code inside Summit 600 Series lid from 2010 original.

Second pic is code inside new lid for same grill.

maybe this is already explained elsewhere in the forums, but what do these codes mean?

I had this on the bottom of my grill. No serial number sticker to be found anywhere on the grill. I think it is a Genesis 1000, not sure what the markings on the bottom of the cookbook mean.

The FB-1 stands for FireBox. The rest is probably a date code and part number
