I had been watching the post on Craigslist for about a month...offered him less because it had been up for so long. He cut the price in half and kept the propane tank. Score for $25.00! Now lets see what I got...

So far, so good


Porcelain grates, pretty hammered. There was a sheet of foil on the grates when he first opened the lid. Why?


Lava rocks? Really? Ya gotta wonder.

But, what I really wanted, other than the lid, was another set of burner tubes


and an extra valve/manifold. All of these components are in good shape, so I'm feeling pretty good w/ the deal. The lid is already on my working grill, I'll strip off the other good parts; off to the recycle bin for the rest (in peace).
 
I've picked up 4 gassers for free in the past few weeks. 2 red heads, a stainless, and a standard black. I'm planning on 'restoring' 3 of em and turning the 4th into a work/prep cart. Just couldn't see these going to waste. :D

To Quote Tom Peterson (late night TV furniture advertiser in Portland, years ago) "Free is a very good price!!!" When you get tired of picking up the free grills, let me know and I'll come get a few ;)
