My mothers day gift to myself

Three racks of baby backs. No sauce, served on the side. All for me and my pork loving kiddo, with some delivered to my mom. Took some work on this mothers day, but it put me in my happy place and tasted great. Pix to follow.

Was told by both my mother and my child that I could keep up this trend. Was going to anyhow, but the bare bones in the middle of the table made it feel nice! And the girls at work will love me tomorrow!!
 
Upon further reflection, I think I could have gone with a little less smoking wood, but I liked my rub, and the leftovers were tasty. I like the more smoky flavor, but the rest of the fam likes a little less.

But there is a very satisfactory feeling of being the chick at work that has a demand for her leftovers!
