My Middle Section Rocks?

I did the out-of-round adjustment and that went fine. While I was doing the adjustment, I had the center section sitting on a flat surface and noticed that it rocked from side to side. The bottom of this section is not completely flat. When I put it back on the bottom section, I was able to rock it there as well.
I there an adjustment for this? It seems that if the bottom of the center section is not flat, then a good seal will never be able happen and air will get in to the coals.

Thats what I thinking about on the out of round middle section. I'm curious to know how others would do it.I did send you an e-mail with a very ruff diagram on how you might be able to fix it but I'd wait and see what others say.the diagram is what I did to mine, just don't push to hard or you could end up going to far and have the same problem only the wobble goes the other way.

I just picked up a used wsm and noticed that the middle section does not set even either. Being that I did not buy it retail can I call weber and get it replaced under warranty?

Weber hasn't ask me if my grills were new or used when I needed replacement parts. I believe they just go by the code on the damper.

After doing a little tweeking to the middle section I put a light inside the smoker down on the charcoal grate and didn't see any light coming out any where except around the door a little and very little at one of the bottom vents.I know the real test will come the next time I fire it up.
