My Maverick ET-732 Arrived Today!!

I can't wait to try it out this weekend! It is the first time ever using one,so I am ultra excited! I was just wondering, after reading the directions, the thing seems pretty straight forward and simple to use. Are there any tricks or helpful tips you guys have figured out to get the most out of it? Also, I read in an earlier post that the probes for the ET-732 are larger in diameter (than those of the ET-73) and would not fit both (at the same time) through the bbq guru eyelets. I was just wondering if anyone out there had used the lamp rewiring mod (for eyelets) knew if both probes from the ET-732 would fit through 3/8" hole? The eyelet mod is one I really want to do, but was holding off to seek advice from the "Higher Council"!
