It's been a minute since I've cooked on a Silver B, and it aligns with my recollection. You're welcome. Did I miss anything? Those were honestly the only differences I noticed. Oh, one more thing. The stainless steel lids on these grills weigh a ton compared to a Genesis 1000 lid.
When I swapped out my 2000 DU Silver B after 20++ years for a genny 1000 I observed similar differences. The 1000 was slower to heat and ran a little cooler, however I found the 1000 to be superior as a rotisserie grill compared to the silver B.
TBH, since I picked up the E330, I haven't cooked that often on either my Silver B or the 1000 to give them a fair comparison.
Edit: this came across wrong. Beginning in 2018 I invested time exploring new grills including a pellet smoker a WSM 22 and an E330. I'm blessed to have space and fortune to try different grills, and I opt for a gas grill when I'm in a rush which is why I like the E330.
Spreading cooks across 5 or 6 grills leaves some used less than others, and I tend to use the others more. I think both a Silver B and a 1000 are fine grills yet I cook most on my BGE, then my WSK and then my E330.
