My Copper Turd Mods

New mahogany grill handles arrived today. Couldn't be happier with how they look on the copper turd. I have some steel wool that came in to get those stubborn stains I couldn't get in the last clean.

Why didn't you get the matching damper handles?

Recently picked up the basic KettlePizza to try making pizza outside instead of in the oven. I modified the hinged grate slightly to be able to load wood chunks when needed and wanted to share. Works well with the Dough-Joe 15x15 1/4in steel we were already using in the oven.

Andrew, I pried open the hinge part of the flip grate and removed it as well to make it even easier to add wood chunks. You can add it back later if you want. Don’t know why you called it a turd, those coppers look Great!
