My $62.61 OTG

Quick question, what type of degreaser did you use?

This is what I had in the garage & used.

But check out a video of their Super Strength cleaner...

Chad, how did you install the thermometer? Is it as simple as drilling a hole?
Basically, yes. For the thermometer stem, it's a simple hole. Since I used the Weber with the bezel, there's an extra 'tab' that I just drilled an extra hole for.
No, I wasn't smart enough to take photos of it. lol

If you look above the 'r' of part, you can see the stamped out portion of the bezel. It's just folded down to create the tab. Assuming it's to prevent spinning.

Gotta love CL. Last spring I picked up a brand new in the box 18.5 OTS for $40. Turns out to be a wooden handle model from 1998 that the guy picked up at an estate sale. Then a few months ago I came across a 22.5 OTG for $40, and the seller threw in a bunch of grilling utensils, lighter fluid and charcoal!

Thanks for the link on the thermometer, I got a four year old OTG at a garage sale for 5.00, I cleaned it up good and this will be a nice add on.

I've since added 2 performers and a few red kettles since this original post, but the OTG still gets used quite a bit. Last night, as a matter of fact.
LOVE having the thermometer in the lid.
