Hi Folks,

I've cooked brisket (ok), ribs (ok), butt and picnic (great) so far. I'm kinda porked out...need suggestions for what to try next.

I figure turkey is out since thanksgiving is soon. I've smoked chickens in the kettle. can't be too different in the sam..

I'm intrigued by the chuck roast or maybe clod...but I'm open to suggestions.

which recipes guys? cardog salmon? which meatloaf and rib roast recipes?

I've never, ever considered meatloaf in a smoker...that should be interesting. The closest decent fish store is 25 miles away, so it probably won't be salmon unless I go with a BJs mongo filet. I've made the raichlen salmon kiev recipe with it. It's not smoked but it's great.
 
I do the Cardogs salmon for guests all the time and they all love it. Great flavor and very moist. Another favorite is the Herb Crusted Prime Rib.
 
If you haven't tried, I'd definitely suggest a chuck or sirloin tip roast. Another MUST DO is a meatloaf. I posted my favorite recipe here. Of course, your Grandmother's recipe would work just as well.

Meatloaf is fast, easy, and delicious. You'll never want to eat one out of the oven again.
