I ordered a bunch of these caps and ever since using them, I have been plaqued we ith noise issues that just dont want to go away. The noise is not steady and appears and goes away and appears a second or so later. It is mostly yellow, and sometimes red on the thermocouple.

I have rulled out power supply.

Voltages look fine 12v, 5v, 3.3v

Thermocoule circuit is fine as it happens on either the onboard tc or adapter boards, and on the probe jacks with nothing connected to them.

I dont think I have had any noise issues prior to using the .1 caps, or it could be just a coincidence.

Ralph brought up it may be related to the tolerances -20/+80, which i have not seen before either, and if i had seen it before getting them i would have probably passed on them.

Anyways, I thought maybe Bryan or somebody else would know if they would be the cause or not.

Update:

I thought I would give an update, and to help someone if they needed to find a substitute .1 cap to use.

Do not use the above caps in the OP or any caps that have a tolerances of -20/+80. They will give you noise issues that won't go away.

I reorder some stock .1 caps and all is good, now.
