I made a few mods today to the new unit and ready for the test run tomorrow, I added casters, side handles, handles on the lower cooking grate and bought another charcol grate and wired the ring and two grates together as one unit. I have not installed 3/8 threaded rod yet for my ET 732, someone needs to convince me it's OK to drill a hole in my new smoker, I just can't bring myself to do it so the first cook will be without the Maverick. I will be doing a pork shoulder tomorrow, I have a receipe that we all like that i have been doing on my OTP for over 6 years and will replacating that to see the difference on the WSM, not sure what to expect

Run the probe wire through the vent for now.

Well I did get the drill out and I now have access for my probes. All went well, I will let all know how the first smoke goes tomorrow
