Yeah, OK I know I am a little on the "nutty" side. I just got the Fellow Ode gen 2 and I also have 2 Baratza Forte grinders (an AP ceramic burr, and BG Steel Burrs). Over the years Baratza "modernized" them with an updated control panel (which both of mine had bad touch screens so they got new ones), and they added barista lights (to illuminate the grind chamber). Which is actually a little more useful than you might think. Not to be outdone I decided to mod mine since updating to the new touch screens. So on to Amazon I went in search for the proper little 2 pin molex plugs. I stumbled on to these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NWD5NTN?tag=tvwb-20 the male connector was a perfect fit to the molex socket on the new boards. Then a package of thesehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CHF5SLBK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 measured them. Drilled 2 perfectly sized holes on either side of the discharge chute. Perfectly sized to force fit the LED in to it. Tip of the LED extends maybe 1/2mm and perfectly illuminates the grind chamber.
Looks as good as factory.
Gonna do the AP grinder today depending on how I feel after I hear what the specialist tells me re to my elevated PSA and "stuff". Ugh. Gettin' older ain't for the weak
