Greetings from Dana Point! I joined this morning. Can anyone tell me if there is a problem using the Napolean charcoal tray with my Genesis. Looking forward to this forum.
 
First, welcome to the forum.
I just looked at these charcoal trays and I would not use it on my Genesis. If I want charcoal flavor, I just use my Performer. You could use a cast iron smoker box for smoke flavor. If you don't have a kettle, check out Craigslist. They have some great prices on there from time to time. That would also give you more cooking real estate. Enjoy the forum. This is a great place to learn and to share. By the way, we love pics here.

Thank you! I'm just not getting enough flavor from my smoke box. I've actually used two at times. Thanks again.

Welcome Mike, your going to love this forum lots of great people. Dana Point that's just down the road from where Rich and I lived in Lake Forest. Awesome area for sure.
