Minimum pork butt size?

I saw some pork butts at the local mega-mart that were only ~ 3lbs. Is this too small to BBQ? I like the idea of having PP after only a 6 hour cook or so.

I have tried the smaller butts, but they seem to be "drier" than the larger ones. Notice the amount of fat on the smaller ones. Cook time on the smaller ones sometime take as long as the larger butts. Just my experience however.

Don, by the time you're done with that butt you'll have enough for one or two sammies

If I'm going to spend time on a cook I want some extra I can keep for awhile.

Hi Don I've done that a fair number of times and it always turns out ok, to second Jerry's comment though I have also found that they seem to take as long as the larger butts from time to time. Not sure why.....Good luck and enjoy!
