Merry Christmas

Unfortunately living in the mountains of AZ an antenna will only get about three stations here that aren't worth turning on the TV for. Had to get the cable package with 125 channels to get the six or so channels that we enjoy.

Being elevated like you are, it seems, with the right antenna, you'd be able to receive a decent amount of channels unless the mountains are blocking the signals. Have you tried an amplifier of some sort?

Rusty, it's the mountains blocking the signals. Some of my neighbors have antennas with amplifiers on theirs and that didn't help much. Even though we are at about 5400 feet we sit in a valley surrounded by higher mountains. Most of the signals come from Phoenix which is 100 miles away.

Looks like the big city stations would install transmitters / translators in remote areas like yours.
