Media Blast Preference

I am considering having some fireboxes and end caps blasted. When you guys have media blasting done do you blast both the inside and outside of the firebox and endcaps? I know opinions will vary, just looking for pros and cons before I dive in.

Why not? Then no need to spend excess time cleaning them

I wondered if having a cleaned and scuffed factory base would provide better paint longevity? But I do agree on much less cleaning, and time savings!!

If the factory paint on the outside of the cookbox is still in really good condition then don't blast it. But unless the grill is pretty new that probably won't be the case
