Max Rib Configuration

I need to make a lot of Baby Back Ribs. What is the most I can get on my 22.5 and what system did you guys use? I want to get as many as possible on there?

I don't have a 22 - mine is an 18. I know with my rack that I use I can comfortably get 6 slabs on mine easily. I'm sure if I got a little creative I could do more. But with your 22 you should be able to do more than that. I would suggest a good rack - one with 5 or 6 slots. Mine has 6. But having a good rack will definitely help you maximize your space.

You can get Weber rib racks part# 6406 for just under $13 each from Home Depot, Lowes, or similar. Use two for the top grate of your WSM 22

Overlap them in the middle like this

Top grate will look like this

You will need to cut your ribs to half their length in the rib rack slots closest to the outside perimeter of the grate.
You can put a third weber rib rack on the bottom grate.

So it looks like 14 racks. 7 on top with a 1/2 rack on each end. Same lay out on the bottom. I'll have to buy four of thoe rib racks. Pretty good, thanks!

Actually, looks like 8 on top and 8 on the bottom for a total of 16.
