Stefan B TVWBB All-Star Apr 5, 2011 #2 I haven't received my 732 yet, but i know the 73 probes would not make a big enough gap to worry too much about.

C chad TVWBB Member Apr 6, 2011 #5 I run mine through the top vent as well - that seems to work fine.

PaulFisher TVWBB Super Fan Apr 6, 2011 #7 I run the meat probe under the lid and I put the smoker probe in the top vent. I've never had an issue.

Wolgast TVWBB Olympian Apr 6, 2011 #8 Both probes under the lid for me. But you can take 1 bolt of the top grate holder and run em thru there if you dont wanna mess with eyelets/grommets. Under the lid,And you dont have to move em at all if you are checking/basting the food. Maby a bit wear and tear,But i still need the new 732 so if my old 73 stops working i have an excuse to get the "new" one
