Maverick ET-72 help please

Is the transmit icon always on when in use?
If I press the TX button, the icon will flash and then go out on the transmitter, but doesn't display at all on the receiver. Am I doing something wrong.

I am a moron technologically!!!
 
John, welcome back, looks like you registered in 2007 but are listed as a new member? At any rate I use the ET 72 also. Have you used it successfully before? I don't reall looking at the transmit signal cause mine always works great. I do know that you have to turn the reciever on 1st and then the transmitter for it all to sink properly. I don't have them in front of me but I believe that to be correct. At least you have to turn the box with the on/off switched exposed on 1st and the one hidden behind the battery

What Mark said! And if you have signal problems put in new batteries on both and the signal will be alot stronger. If that doesent help i dunno.

I'm a big time lurker. Maverick seems to be working now with no problem. Thanks for the input.
