Smokehouse from the 50’s still doing it with old brick smoke stacks that never stop. One of those outta the way hole in the wall places that ships Christmas hams everywhere. Old timey chocolate and ginger cookies that alternate days. Melt in your mouth brisket on homemade sourdough buns.

It looks like it's a little under 2-1/2 hours from Bastrop to Clarence...certainly not a weekday "get dinner" drive for you, but do you get there from time to time?

I travel all over Louisiana and Mississippi for work and get by there once a month or so. No boudin at Graysons that’s in Scott! And it’s mighty fine!
