Looking To Buy The Weber Genesis Full Griddle Insert

I own a Genesis 335S, was looking at a Pit Boss Ultimate Plancha, but seemes pointless if I already own a half decent gas grill and this insert is available for it and means not adding another piece of equipment and gas bottle to an ever expanding collection of individual outdoor cooking equipment.

Anyone any experience of it and can recommend it along with some hints and tips and does the sear burner allow dual zone cooking on the griddle or is it best to stick to just the 3 normal burners for it?

Can't find the storage bag on sale here in the UK, can buy it from Amazon US but a considerable mark up with shipping costs, is it a worthwhile buy when griddle not in use or to store grates when it is? Any alternative OEM storage bags people are aware of that maybe also available

Thanks a good read and very helpful. Weirdly i have bought that bag as the Weber official one isn't available in the Uk and ordered the Campchef from Amazon US to be shipped over here.

Noticed ours in the UK is Porcelain Enamelled Cast iron and yours is Carbon Steel, hopefully it works just as well, would imagine it wouldn't need seasoning like the Carbon Steel one
