Long dry spell

Last year between July & October I bought 4 old grills, 2 Wber Genesis 1000's , A Weber spirit 500, & a Broilking & refurbished them it was a lot of fun , kept 2 & sold for what I had in price & parts the other two to friends. What a great hobby, you buy stuff, get the feeling of accomplishment & then get your money back
Well here's the problem, since October last year the only Genesis 1000 was $250!! I didn't nearly that before parts in the 4 last year combined :(
No way I could ever recover what I'd have in it after refurbish.
Hopefully some one will buy a new shiny grill this weekend & I'll find another project.

Good luck John. Not only are you having fun, but you are helping others get into truly great grills. We love our Genesis 1000 that I refurbed over a year ago. Keep up the good work.

I've done the same thing and really enjoy doing it and except for the labor I get my money back. After about six of them I'm now buying them with the profits from the others so no out of pocket expense to buy them.. The old genesis 1000-5000s are my favorites, but I'm finding there a little harder to find now. Someday I'll find my dream grill a genesis 5000 in nice condition. I know, dream on.
