Seat switch is long gone. We don't need no stinkin' switches Actually not only is the seat switch gone but so is the engine shut down solenoid. The original had burned out. So I bought one (supposedly brand new from an EBay seller). Surprise it was not new and actually arrived with the rubber boot melted and the windings smelling like a bonfire. I got a refund and rigged up what looks like a "choke knob". So for engine shut down it's "old school". I turn off the key while it's idling and pull the knob on the dash. It's how diesels were shut down in the old days. So the only safety device I have is the brake pedal safety.
