Lets getting cooking in Louisiana!

Just ordered my WSM 18.5 from amazon. Will be here Friday, thank you Prime. I also ordered a hinge for the lid and look forward to smoking my first butt on it Saturday morning. My son is moving on to boy scouts from cub scouts and the group wants pulled pork. I am no new to Weber but I am to the smoker. I have the 22" Performer in Blue . I am a Royal Oak user and have a Kick Ash Basket in my performer, it is a fantastic tool. If you have not seen what they are please check them out.

I look forward to seeing everyone food and ideas and maybe can share a few of my own.

Well the grill has a bent lid and doesn't fit properly. Ugh.... Well I think I am going to get the 22 now but not from Amazon.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I will get some pictures done tonight for sure. Just picked up my 22 since the 18 was damaged. All they has was a floor model but they took some off the price and it was worth the $3 more than amazon to pick it up already put together! First cook tonight 2 8lb pork shoulders for cub scouts.
