I was just replenishing a few spices at World Spice and this, Lemon Crystal cought my eye I understand that it is probably mostly just citric acid, which is added to many (sour) candies. My question is would this hold up to heat? I think that maybe a very small amount would add a strange new layer to a bbq rub, that is, if it would survive the cook. I'm going to hold off my order until I get a little more info on this, thanks.
