Latch fix on WSM door

The only defect on my Craigs List WSM was the door was bent & the latch knob was broken off. I'd been thinking how to fix?
While on this forum I opened a bottle of wine & Duh I can make a knob out of a wine cork!

This was my fix. Weber did send me a new door, but I figured it would break again. Now I have an extra latch. To fix my door I used a few bolts, aluminium bar and a few well placed washers: All purchased at Home Depot. It's been working very well. I even have an adjustment for making the door tighter if needed; however, I have not needed to touch it since I made the mod. Only draw back, it gets hot so you need gloves or hot pads to open the door.
