Lamb or Mutton?

Hi I was just wondering what peoples experience with Lamb had been like in the WSM cooker. I have quite a lot of luck with the pre marinated lamb legs you can buy these days from the supermarkets. The ones you just straight grill . I'm not however having a much luck with smoking Lamb. It tends to end up tasting oily/greasy. Does anyone know whether Mutton might turn out better?
