For my first post I would like to share the prime rib I did on labor day.

It was a dry age prime cut that was about 7 to 8 pounds.

I used the the montreal steak + wistershire sauce and it came out great!
we used some jack daniel wood chips + misquete
here are some pictures

i tried to thumbnail them from imageshack but it didn't work so sorry for the large pictures. I got them as small as i could

I would like to thank this website for all the help it's given me. I first got a charbroil red smoker and didn't even light it up I returned it and got a WSM!

thanks!

Oh man! That looks soooo good! Now i know what I'm going to cook next weekend...

How long did you cook it, and what temp? I haven't cooked prime rib in my WSM yet...

We pulled it at 134 degrees and let it rest for about 20 to 30 min. I don't really keep track of time because it's done when it hit 134. I think it was around 3 hours.

sorry it took so long to get back to ya.
