Kudos to the kettle.....

Due to the flippin’ California spare the air days any my wife not being a die hard fan of smoky food, we’ve been grilling on the Genesis II she bought for me. Last night, without her knowledge, I made marinated flank steak and grilled asparagus on the kettle using RO lump. She said it was the best steak she had in a while. When asked what I had done differently, she found out I used the kettle, not the genesis. She was quite surprised.... Guess we’ll be using the kettle more often....

I will always be a big fan of wood cooking...... kettle, WSM, etc.
