Does the Kingsford Mesquite run hot? Also where is the smoke? Will it last as long as the regular Kingsford? (If I was using regular Kingsford I would expect to have leftover coals after a 10-12 hour cook. Started with the minion method.
Around ten or so I will pull it off, wrap and finish in the oven following the ?Smoked & Oven Finished? recipe.
If everything goes well it should be ready for tomorrow?s get-together dinner. During the day tomorrow I will do a 11 lb. turkey.
As a side note I asked the wife to bring back a small brisket for this weekend ? she purchased an eight pound trimmed brisket. What a woman!
