Kettle Fried Buttermilk Wings?

I love fried chicken, really love the fried chicken. Dang, that fried up bird just hits right. My favorite style is a buttermilk brined recipe, soaked overnight, then fried up to a sinfully good feast.
My vortex arrived, and I’m breaking it in tomorrow with wings, but has anyone tried buttermilk chicken with the vortex? I’ve seen a few of the spatchcock turkeys and chickens, but none of the wings. Is there anything I should know going into this adventure?
