Keri C apple juice brine

I was going to brine a couple of chickens and smoke this Sat using Keri's brine and trying out my new BBQ Guru. Should I brine the chickens as long as she did the turkey or should I maybe cut the time in half. Planning on butterflying the chickens and using a couple pieces of maple for the smoke, at 300 deg. Am I missing anything else.
 
Fixed 2 butterflied chickens using Keri C's brine and Texas #1 rub, no skin on chicken and they turned out great. This is a very easy brine to make with only a few ingredients and it has a very good taste, probably didn't even need the rub. Will stay with this recipe per families request.
