Just picked up a Genesis 2000 Redhead for $5.

Frame, fire-box and lid are good.

Everything else is not good or missing.
Would like to restore to showroom condition.

It was hooked up to natural gas so I need everything to switch over to propane.
Anyone done that and can recommend what is needed.

BTW if anyone has any new or almost new parts for it I am interested.

You have to replace the entire manifold and add a regulator to switch it to Propane. Probably $100 in parts minimum, let alone everything else. My honest suggestion would be to keep looking for another one that is already propane, and switch the lids if you want a redhead.
