Honestly even if it could. Right now it would be a no go. Just don't want a coal burner on an elevated wood deck. And honestly don't think it would bring that much as most would not see the value of the beast. Plus there are a lot of faults I put up with. There are no igniters I have to manual light the burners one by one, even the IR burner's rotary igniter doesn't work so I just use a stick lighter. No bells or whistles on it either not even a hood thermometer.
If I had a ground level deck or a concrete patio then a coal burner would be considered.
