Jumbo Joe at an SCA cookoff

Went to Dixon, CA last weekend and competed in an SCA cookoff. It was my first one. I used my Weber Jumbo Joe with grill grates. The grates quickly get to 600 degrees so this setup is good for steaks.
I learned a lot about the cookoffs and will take a judging course and develop a new recipe for next time. It was a fun day spent with my wife and some friends.
I will do another soon.
