Jay Is Our Quarterback

Wow, last week the bears fans were giving him a one way ticket out of the state! Now, after one comeback, they're giving him a key to the city! WOW.
Seriously, he took a heck of a shot to the chest in the second quarter, but didn't miss a beat. So kudos for his toughness. That said, even as the offense was scoring, and the defense was shutting down the 49's, he still looked aloof. When they would show the rest of the team on the sidelines, everyone was excited and really into the game! Then there was Jay..just that distant far off stare in his eyes as he sat all by himself on the bench..
I guess it really doesn't matter, the bears won and jay was a big part of it, but he just doesn't ever really look like to wants to be there..
Oh well, good win for bears fans,
Tim

Aloof or jerk face as we like to call him..:) He does have diabetes and has been playing thru it, and night games are tougher to handle for him as others.
He is what he is, got a cannon for an arm and will break your heart one game and win it back the next. It's what we deal with as Bears fans.

Hey Tim K -
Don't fall into the media-fueled trap of trying to analyze Jay's 'body language' and posture. That's all hogwash! He's what we've got - he wants to be a gun slinger and he's going to win some games and lose some games. The rest of it is all out there to sell newspaper and radio space.
Pete

Jay's not gonna get the keys to the city with those picks. If you look at the stats, the Bears should have beat the Pack without the interceptions.
Talk about being the loneliest player in Chicago it has to be Jay this morning.

That hurt for the fans and couldn't have been any better for Jay. He had the 2 picks, but one on a crazy bounce and one total miscommunication - was the receiver rusty from no practice all week? Just tough to see a close first half and end up getting blown out.

I will agree with you Pete.
