Ist attempt at Beef ribs

Appreciate the info. I didn't know you are not supposed to post the same thread in different forums. I posted this on the BBQ forum as well. Sorry.
 
I would cook them longer at a lower heat. Beef ribs are tough to pull off in general. I'm always frustrated by the thick membrane between bone and meat. In pork it will render, in beef it stays rubbery.
I tend to cook 2 racks at a time and throw the 2nd rack in a crockpot for next day stew.
