I’m in the market for a genesis 2000, 3000, or 4000. If it’s a 4000, I would want the ones with the wooden tables

What I like the most about the long frame early Genesis is the ability to easily mount a second drop table without affecting tool storage. I only have had one of these and miss it, but not for the side burner.
I agree. Though I dont even have one drop table on my spirit 700. All I have is a half melted plastic table that falls off everytime I put the cover on my grill.

Do you find the one flip up table is enough room or do you always find yourself needing more.

Additionally do you prefer the longer frame for the look?

I am usually satisfied with the stationary table and one drop table for cooking but I don’t like to set whatever I’m drinking on the control panel.
I do prefer the shorter frame for both maneuverability and space, but putting an extra table on moves all the hanging tools in the way of the drip tray.
My solution so far with my 1000LX has been to extend the frame under the control panel far enough to put on a half table, and I think it’s ok.
