Have a dual gas/charcoal grill and 18.5 wsm, considering getting a 22.5 One Touch Grill, just to have something extra to grill & smoke on, but would like to be able to fit it in my car. I have a nissan sentra btw. I fit my 18.5 wsm but taking it apart in the 3 pieces and putting them in seperately. Does anyone with a similar sized car have experience transporting the 22.5 one touch?

Somebody bought a 22" OTS from me last week and it fit in the back seat of their Audi A4 (with the lid and grates in the trunk).

I have a Subaru Impreza.

A 22.5 won't fit in with the lid on. I would find putting that in my car would be a royal pain.

An 18.5 might fit with the lid on, but why not just get a Smokey Joe? I got mine on CL for $10. Hard to beat.

i have a '94 accord sedan & i have room in the trunk for the the 22.5" (taken apart)+ charcoal + sm/med ice chest.
Friends are surprized when they see me bring this in a car.

I put an old school 3 wheeler in the front seat of my honda accord coupe that I got off of craigslist. It was very nasty from sitting outside and it was pouring rain that day so i just shoved it in there. Got my front seat dirty but it was worth it.

I recently found a 22.5 OTS on CL and relocated it in the back of a 2000 Kia Sportage. The previous owner screwed the legs on so it wouldn't come apart so I had to turn it sideways. The Kia is a hatchback so its very accommodating. Would I consider doing this as part of summertime outings? Probably not.

I think Shawn's suggestion makes the most sense. And if that not enough capacity, get two!

The gold fits in the back of my Civic with the lid off and the ash pan taken out. The bowl sits too high to close the lid if the pan is in place.
